Evidence-to-Claim Discovery Week · Five days · A$2,950 ex GST

One live project. One evidence-to-claim workflow. Defined before you build.

We take one live evidence-to-claim workflow and turn it into a workflow map, a working prototype and a written build decision your leadership team can act on — in five fixed days.

Check Discovery Week fit
  • Working prototype using sample data from your project
  • Written scope, acceptance criteria, fixed build price and delivery date
  • If configuration or an existing product is the better answer, we tell you

You keep every output · no obligation to build with Devy · price confirmed before invoicing

What you leave with

A decision package you can use — not a slide deck of generic best practice. Every output is yours whether or not a build follows.

The recommended solution may be configuration, integration, an existing product, a focused build, or no build.

The exact format is agreed with your team. This example keeps every record connected to source material a person can check.

The operating problem

When a Discovery Week is the right starting point

The free reviews start with one record. Discovery Week is for when you know the workflow is broken but not what should change.

  1. 01

    The gap spans systems

The problem is not one register — it is how records move between site, job management, claims and accounting.

  2. 02

    Opinions differ on the fix

Site, office and management each carry a different theory. A measured baseline and a prototype settle it faster than a meeting.

  3. 03

A build is on the table

Before funding custom software, the scope, price and alternative options should be written down and testable.

How it works

How the week runs

One project, checked against live records and the people who run the work.

  1. 01

    Days 1–2: trace the workflow

We interview the commercial owner and a PM or supervisor, then trace live instructions, records, approvals and exports.

  2. 02

    Days 3–4: test the prototype

We build and test the smallest useful intervention around your current systems and human approvals.

  3. 03

Day 5: decide with the work visible

We walk through the prototype, baseline, scope, acceptance criteria and recommendation. You leave with every output.

What you receive

Exactly what is delivered — and what is not

A focused offer should not turn out to mean a sales call. This is the deliverable, spelled out.

Evidence-to-Claim Discovery Week — deliverables

What you receive
The workflow map and baseline, the working prototype, written requirements and acceptance criteria, and a defined build decision.
Who reviews it
Your director, commercial or operations owner — someone who can act on the decision.
Records required
One live project, a named process owner and sample records available under a confidentiality agreement.
How long it takes
Five focused days. Long enough to inspect real records and test a prototype; short enough to keep the engagement fixed.
Price
A$2,950 ex GST, capped — confirmed by phone before anything is invoiced. You keep the prototype and scope either way.
Not included
Custom software is not the default answer. If configuration, a connector or an existing product closes the gap, the recommendation says that. Discovery never decides entitlement, values work or sends statutory material.
Fit

A narrow offer, on purpose

The work is measured against real records, so the fit criteria matter more than the volume of requests.

A fit if you’re

  • A commercial MEP or fire protection contractor — mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics or fire
  • Able to share the relevant records under a signed confidentiality agreement
  • A named commercial contact who will review the output
  • A director, commercial or operations owner who can act on the decision

Not a fit if

  • The goal is a replacement ERP, accounting, safety or claims platform
  • You’re in a live dispute or adjudication — you need a construction lawyer, not us
  • You’re mostly residential or maintenance — different contracts, different problem
  • You need legal advice, quantity-surveying certification or an automatic entitlement decision
Illustrative example — not a real client result

Closing the site-to-office gap

This labelled scenario shows how Devy reasons about a contractor’s site-to-office trail. It is not a reported client result.

Operating context
An MEP contractor running installation and service crews across concurrent projects.
Previous workflow
Photos and texts reach supervisors; variations are reconstructed at claim time; test records are assembled at handover.
What changes in this scenario
A focused, crew-friendly capture flow feeds the current job and accounting systems and prepares the records needed for office review.

What happens afterwards?

The recommendation may be a build — or it may be configuration of a system you already own, or an existing product. You keep the prototype, scope and decision either way, and you can act on them with Devy, another provider or not at all.
