About Stock Overflow Solutions
Stock Overflow Solutions provides warehousing and fulfilment services in Australia. As order volume grew, the company needed to replace ageing software with a system that could reduce manual work and show clients what was happening with their stock.
Objectives
SOS wanted current inventory across multiple warehouses, fewer manual steps in fulfilment and better information for clients. The new system also had to handle growth without forcing the team through another software replacement.
The problem
The existing software did not provide current inventory data, which contributed to stock discrepancies and delayed fulfilment. Staff handled too much of the process manually, while clients had to ask for updates because they could not see stock levels or order progress themselves.
Orders move through an automated fulfilment workflow, including warehouse assignment and delivery-route planning, with fewer details copied by hand.
The client portal shows orders, inventory movements and status notifications without requiring an update from SOS staff.
